Right now NASA's Chandra is collecting light in Carina. Nearby in the sky is the Caterpillar, a dark cloud of gas & dust in space known as a Bok Globule. Bok Globules can act like cocoons to star embryos within, protecting them during metamorphosis until they ignite! 🐛
