TIL in the 80s a British Harrier pilot got disoriented and, with less than a minute of fuel remaining, successfully landed on top of a flower shop van on the deck of a Spanish cargo ship. The ship's crew were awarded over 500,000 pounds for the safe delivery of the Harrier to the Royal Navy.
