TIL that Lithuanian politician Artūras Zuokas won an IG Nobel prize in 2011, for “demonstrating that the problem of illegal parked luxury cars can be solved by running them over with a tank”. Zuokas had used an armoured vehicle to run over an illegally parked car in a Vilinus bike lane.
