Phil Jackson coached his teams to 9 NBA championships in a 12 season span from 1991-2002. This includes a personal streak of 6 titles in row with two different teams, the Bulls and Lakers. Jackson went on to finish his career with 13 total championships as a player and coach, a NBA record.
