TIL the streets of Hong Kong are littered with abandoned cars including highly sought after classic and JDM cars (Skylines/NSXs/Supras/Lotus) due to strict annual car inspections resulting in mandatory repairs. Parking can cost as much as rent so often they just buy new cars and abandon the old one.
