Hey everyone, sorry if this isn't the right subreddit, but I was hanging out with a friend a few days ago who said they were thinking of starting a blog to share some of their musical discoveries from having to listen to hours upon hours of old music while working for The ARChive (Wikipedia link for those who want some context). As the title says, I'm pretty sure the friend's job was specifically to listen to & archive music from the early 1900s, but in particular, musical artists who were lesser known and not popular and well-distributed white artists, so basically the obscure stuff.
